AUS200

AUS200 or ASX200 (Australian Securities Exchange 200) is the benchmark index of the Australian Stock Exchange in Sydney. It comprises the stocks of the largest 200 companies listed on the Australian Exchange after capitalization. 

AUS200 was created in April 2000 and is updated quarterly based on the data of the previous six months. New stocks that meet the eligibility criteria are included and stocks that do not meet the criteria anymore are removed. It is a market-capitalization weighted index and is calculated by Standard & Poor’s.
