RoboMarkets Review 2026: Zero Commission Is From 0.075%

A new EU or EEA client on robomarkets.de is offered Prime Stocks, not the Cyprus EURUSD grid the firm's own notice retired. The live floor is 0.075% per order, printed beside a zero-commission line, on a contract with the Frankfurt GmbH.

Disclosure. Some links to brokers on this page may be affiliate or sponsored links, and The Traders Spread may be paid if you open an account through them. That has no bearing on the rating, which is derived from the written assessment (costs 35%, safety 30%, platforms 20%, funding 15%). Analysis and information, not advice.

What is RoboMarkets actually charging a new retail client in the European Union: nothing, or 0.075%? The English Prime Stocks page, retrieved on 14 October 2026, puts both answers on one screen. A feature line says "Trade with Zero Commission". The specification row under it says spreads from 0,075% per order, with a minimum deposit of 100 euros. The homepage, read the same day, uses a third phrasing: trading fees from 0,075% per side, plus "No fixed charges or minimum fees per trade". The FAQ on that homepage then says trading fees are from 0,075% across all markets and instruments, and that account maintenance is free. Per order and per side are different units. Zero and 0.075% are different prices. The question the account is pricing is which of those sentences the next debit will follow, and on which legal entity.

The product a new EU or EEA resident is offered is not an EUR/USD contract. On robomarkets.de the retail book is Prime Stocks: cash or a 1:2 margin account, stocks and ETFs, currencies EUR, USD, CHF, CZK and SEK, platforms R StocksTrader and TradingView. The Cyprus specifications page still prints EURUSD rows, including an average of 1.3 pips on Pro and ProCent. Its own notice, read on 14 October 2026, says those conditions apply only to RoboMarkets Ltd retail clients registered before 9 September 2024 and become irrelevant from 30 December 2024. A pip taken off that grid is a price for a book the page itself has retired. The live German ticket is the percentage, and it does not become an all-in figure just because a marketing line says zero.

Two contracts, one brand

On 14 October 2026 the English imprint names RoboMarkets Deutschland GmbH, Bleidenstraße 1, 60311 Frankfurt am Main, local court Frankfurt, HRB 105969. Managers: Andreas Leonhardt and Michael Puschmann. VAT DE307079063. LEI 529900GRHJXL3GLVJU16. The page says the firm may take possession of client funds or securities.

The footer draws the line the brand name blurs. The GmbH does not operate its own trading platform. It provides access to liquidity providers. For Prime and Prime Stocks, the platform operator is RoboMarkets Ltd.

The English brokerage agreement retrieved the same day is the contract behind that sentence. The parties are the customer and the Frankfurt GmbH, called the broker. The PDF prints "BaFin ID 154068". The live site and the BaFin database use BaFin-ID 10154068, and the database lists Bak Nr. 154068. Same firm, two labels. Official contract language is German. The documents index still links the German Vermittlungsbedingungen und Vermittlungsvertrag.

Section A puts the trading account in the customer's name, for the customer's exclusive beneficial ownership, at RoboMarkets Ltd, 169-171 Arch. Makarios III Avenue, floor 8, 3027 Limassol. The agreement states CySEC licence 191/13, registration HE310464 and Investor Compensation Fund cover of up to €20,000. The same licence line is in the stock-trading provisions and the terms dated 1 April 2024, both linked from the German documents page. The CySEC register did not return this session, so 191/13 is taken from those firm documents.

The imprint limits the audience to residents of a listed set of EU and EEA countries. The footer says services are offered only to EU/EEA residents, and not to persons taxable in the United States under FATCA. Advice and portfolio management need separate contracts.

One tied agent is named. RoboMarkets Nordic AB, Kungsgatan 37, 111 56 Stockholm, company code 559212-3615, has been registered with Finansinspektionen since 21 June 2021 as tied agent to the German GmbH.

€10,000, four published tickets

A percentage and a flat fee share an axis only if the notional is stated. The chart uses one €10,000 order, not a round trip. The RoboMarkets bar is arithmetic on the published floor: 0.075% of €10,000 is €7.50. The English account page says "from" 0,075% per order. It is not a measured average.

Read the ranking in both directions. At €10,000 the floor is the expensive bar, €7.50 against €1.99, €2.00 and €1.00. At €100 the same floor is €0.075, under each flat fee. The pages do not print a break-even. Against a €1 fee, if 0.075% is the only charge, the cross sits near €1,333. Against €1.99 it sits near €2,653. Both figures are arithmetic, not tariffs.

Each peer number belongs to the entity that printed it.

Scalable Capital's Munich newsroom, dated 8 July 2026 and opened on 14 October 2026, says Xetra fees are halved to €1.99 and that venue fees are waived. From 1 September 2026 the same conditions apply to gettex. PRIME+ on the European Investor Exchange is €0.00 above €250, otherwise €0.99. The bar is Xetra, not that EIX line. Dirk Urmoneit, Chief Strategy Officer at Scalable Capital, said in the same release: "At Scalable Capital, retail investors already benefit from a very broad product universe. Our expanded derivatives offering sets new standards: no other broker offers the seven largest issuers at such competitive conditions."

DEGIRO's UK fee overview, updated 1 October 2025 and opened on 14 October 2026, is flatexDEGIRO Bank SE's Dutch branch for a Regular or Custody account, not a German price list. US shares show €1 commission and €1 handling. Selected ETFs show €0 plus €1 handling, and the help centre limits that €1 to Tradegate. The €2 bar is the US-share pair only. Currency conversion on the page is 0.25%.

Trade Republic's German list of prices and services, v11.2025, retrieved 14 October 2026, prints order commission as free and a settlement flat fee of €1.00 per commercial transaction. Savings plans and Crypto Spending executions are excluded. Partial fills are charged once per trading day. Custody management is free on the same page. The German site footer names Trade Republic Bank at Brunnenstraße 19-21, 10119 Berlin.

None of those peer figures is copied from an older review on this site. The Saxo review splits a US-stock commission from currency conversion. A small fixed FX minimum is the point of the Interactive Brokers review. The €10,000 bars above are not a universal ranking.

Two RoboMarkets phrases still refuse to collapse into the €7.50 bar. The homepage says "per side". The account page says "per order". Treating a side as one leg and an order as the whole ticket changes the sum, and the firm has not published a worked example that picks one. This review does not double €7.50 into a round trip the pages do not print.

Section 15 of the Ltd stock-trading provisions says the client reimburses exchange fees, bank fees, currency-conversion fees, custodians' fees and transfer fees. No amounts are printed. Adding them to 0.075% would invent a number.

BaFin file versus the imprint line

The BaFin company database, opened on 14 October 2026, data version 13 October 2026, lists RoboMarkets Deutschland GmbH as a Wertpapierinstitut at the Frankfurt address. BaFin-ID 10154068. Bak Nr. 154068.

The permission history is a switch, not one grant. Under the old Banking Act labels, brokerage, advice, acquisition brokerage and portfolio management are each dated 14 August 2019 and ended on 25 June 2021, when the Securities Institutions Act took effect. The WpIG successors are dated 26 June 2021: Anlagevermittlung under section 2(2) no. 3, Anlageberatung under no. 4, Abschlussvermittlung under no. 5, and Finanzportfolioverwaltung under no. 9. Finanzkommissionsgeschäft, section 2(2) no. 1, is dated 25 August 2025, with no end date on the record.

The English imprint lists the same five activities and then cites a different paragraph. It prints portfolio management as "section 2 sentence 2 no. 39 (WpIG)". The BaFin row prints no. 9. The activity name matches. The number a client would search does not.

Compensation is two schemes because there are two firms. The imprint assigns the German institute to EdW, Entschädigungseinrichtung der Wertpapierhandelsunternehmen, Markgrafenstraße 45, 10117 Berlin: 90% of a securities claim, not more than €20,000 per creditor, and not for a non-EU currency. The brokerage agreement states Cyprus ICF cover of up to €20,000 for insured clients of the Ltd. No sentence adds the caps. A bank-licence comparison, of the sort in the Swissquote review, is a different legal object from this pair.

On 23 September 2026 Baader Bank AG said, in an EQS release, that from 1 October 2026 it would cooperate with the Frankfurt GmbH on custody and trading, naming equities, ETFs and gettex. The release says the German firm was founded in 2016. That year is the issuer's sentence. It is not matched here to the 14 August 2019 BaFin grants, and it is not the start date of RoboMarkets Ltd.

Michael Puschmann, Managing Director of RoboMarkets, said in that EQS release: "Baader Bank stands out for its many years of expertise in account services as well as securities trading. With this partner at our side, we can offer our clients modern trading solutions with no custody fees and low trading fees." Oliver Riedel, Chief Executive Officer of Baader Bank AG, said: "We are delighted to be working with RoboMarkets and to explore the opportunities arising from this partnership." On the €10,000 bar the floor is not the lowest cash cost in the table.

The FX grid the notice retired

A search for a RoboMarkets forex spread lands on robomarkets.com.cy, not on the German account page. The specifications URL, opened on 14 October 2026, carries a notice: the conditions apply to RoboMarkets Ltd retail clients registered before 9 September 2024 and become irrelevant from 30 December 2024.

The tables are still under that sentence. Four EURUSD rows were readable. ProCent and Pro print an average spread of 1.3 pips and 13.00 dollars, at a fixed ratio of 1:30. ECN and Prime print an average of 0.1, with commission of 20 per million and 10 per million. That HTML is not the ticket on robomarkets.de, and it is not on the chart.

The German homepage describes stocks and ETFs. Xetra generally runs 09:00 to 17:30 CET. NYSE and Nasdaq generally run 15:30 to 22:00 CET. XLON, XAMS, PAR and XSTO generally run 09:00 to 17:30. FAQ account types are demo, Prime Stocks, sub-accounts and foreign-currency accounts. Verification is PostIdent plus proof of address not older than six months.

RelatedFXCM Review 2026: £2.00 a Side on the UK Tier 1 Book

Prime Stocks itself is cash, or margin at 1:2, in EUR, USD, CHF, CZK or SEK. Selling securities the client does not hold is marked available on the margin account. Fee-free withdrawal is marked yes. The spread row is still 0,075%.

The idle-account sentence belongs to the institute. The Ltd terms, header date 1 April 2024, section 5.5, charge 5 US dollars semi-annually after six months without a trade, withdrawal or deposit, until the balance is zero. Section 6 puts client money first into a segregated account at RoboMarkets Ltd. The German FAQ's free maintenance and this 5 dollar line can both be true of different firms.

The 3.4, and what would move it

The 3.4 is a structure score with a ticket penalty. The parties are named. An EU or EEA retail client signs with RoboMarkets Deutschland GmbH in Frankfurt, a Wertpapierinstitut on the BaFin file, WpIG permissions from 26 June 2021 and financial commission business from 25 August 2025. Prime Stocks is held at RoboMarkets Ltd, whose documents print CySEC 191/13, HE310464 and ICF cover of up to €20,000. EdW, on the German imprint, is 90% and not more than €20,000. The minimum is 100 euros. Hours and venues are stated. Baader Bank put 1 October 2026 on a custody cooperation. That map is coherent.

The penalty is the price on the page. Zero commission, 0.075% per order and 0.075% per side were all live on 14 October 2026. At €10,000 the floor is €7.50, above the three flat tickets in the chart. At €100 it is €0.075, below them. The chart is a disclosed size choice, not a podium. Passed-through exchange and custody items have no amounts in section 15. The Cyprus FX grid is still online under a notice that retired it. Five dollars of inactivity sit in the Ltd terms while the German FAQ says maintenance is free.

What would move the rating is one dated tariff. It would pick per order or per side. It would say whether venue fees sit inside the 0.075%. It would take the retail FX grid off the live URL, or leave it only for clients registered before 9 September 2024. A post-Baader schedule with a number in place of "low trading fees" would move it too. Until that page exists, 3.4 fits the documents in hand. The arithmetic tests the printed floor. It is not an instruction to open, fund or close anything, and it goes stale the day the row changes.

FAQ

Is the Prime Stocks account commission-free?

The English account page, retrieved 14 October 2026, says "Trade with Zero Commission" and, in the same block, spreads from 0,075% per order. The homepage says trading fees from 0,075% per side and no fixed minimum per trade. Those lines were all live together. Zero is the slogan. The percentage is the only numeric floor the account page prints. A client still has to ask which unit, per order or per side, the platform will bill.

Who holds the client contract?

The brokerage agreement is with RoboMarkets Deutschland GmbH, HRB 105969, Frankfurt, BaFin-ID 10154068. The agreement says the trading account is opened at RoboMarkets Ltd in Limassol, and the site footer says that Cyprus firm is the platform operator for Prime and Prime Stocks. The German firm intermediates. The institute provides the account. Checking only the brand name misses the split.

What is the minimum deposit, and what does 0.075% cost on it?

The English Prime Stocks page prints a minimum deposit of 100 euros. Account currencies listed are EUR, USD, CHF, CZK and SEK. Applied as arithmetic to the published floor, 0.075% of 100 euros is €0.075, and 0.075% of €10,000 is €7.50. Both are floors marked "from", not measured averages. Flat peer fees in this review do not shrink when the order does.

Does the old EURUSD spread of 1.3 pips still apply?

The Cyprus specifications page still showed, on 14 October 2026, an average of 1.3 pips on EURUSD for Pro and ProCent, and 0.1 on ECN and Prime. The notice above those tables limits them to RoboMarkets Ltd retail clients registered before 9 September 2024 and says they become irrelevant from 30 December 2024. A new client on the German Prime Stocks account is not being offered that grid. The German pages describe stocks and ETFs.

How far does compensation go?

Two caps are printed, for two firms. The Frankfurt imprint assigns EdW cover of 90% of a securities claim, not more than €20,000 per creditor, and not for non-EU currencies. The brokerage agreement states Cyprus ICF cover of up to €20,000 for insured clients of RoboMarkets Ltd. The documents do not add those figures together. A claim depends on which firm owed the obligation, and on the statute, not on a combined headline.

What happens to an account that sits idle?

The German FAQ says account maintenance is free, and that market data is free. The RoboMarkets Ltd terms of business, dated 1 April 2024 and still linked from the German documents page, charge inactive accounts a semi-annual fee of 5 US dollars. Inactive there means no trading, withdrawal or deposit for six months. The fee runs until the balance is zero. Which sentence hits a dormant Prime Stocks balance is not reconciled on the marketing page.
