About us

The Traders Spread is an analysis and broker-review site for retail traders. It runs six desks: forex and index CFDs, commodities, crypto, US stocks, prediction markets and brokers.

What we publish

Every analysis is about one named instrument and carries the date it was written. It sets out a base case, a bull case and a bear case with explicit price levels, states what would invalidate the call, and cites the data the argument rests on. When the piece records something that has already happened, it says so plainly, with the size of the move and the window it was measured over.

Prediction-market pieces take a single Polymarket or Kalshi contract and price it against polls, data and base rates. Each one states the market-implied probability, our own fair value and the difference between the two in percentage points.

How brokers are scored

Broker reviews look at the things that decide what a trade actually costs: spreads and commissions on the main account types, the regulators each entity answers to, the platforms on offer, minimum deposit and leverage, and how deposits and withdrawals are handled. Each review ends with a verdict and a rating out of five that is derived from that written assessment. The broker comparison lines every reviewed broker up side by side.

What this site is not

Nothing published here is investment advice. Levels, targets and probabilities are analysis, set out so that you can check the reasoning and disagree with it. Forex, CFDs, crypto and prediction-market contracts carry a high risk of loss, and leverage magnifies it. Read the disclaimer before acting on anything you read.
