I opened Orbex's EUR/USD page, the account table and both client agreements on the same morning, and the Premium ticket comes back as two different prices.
The account table prices Premium from 0.0 pips with a commission of $8, on a minimum investment of $500. The help centre, dated 19 January 2026, calls that $8 a charge per lot per round-turn contract. The agreement linked from the EUR/USD signup form still prices Premium at a spread as low as 1.2 pips, on a ladder of account names the live table has dropped. The page's own pip calculator values one standard lot at $10 a pip, so 1.2 pips is a $12 floor, and that older file leaves any dollar commission off the page.
Updated 28 October 2026.
Round-turn means the cost of opening and closing one standard lot of EUR/USD, and both the September 2025 agreement and Tickmill's example treat that lot as 100,000 of the base currency. Where a page prints only a spread floor, the dollar reading uses Orbex's EUR/USD calculator, which returns $10.00 per pip on 1.00 lot and labels the result illustrative.
A Premium ticket with three printed costs
The account-types page sets out three columns on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. Starter asks for $100, variable spreads and a commission of $0. Premium asks for $500, spreads from 0.0 pips and a commission of $8. Ultimate asks for $25,000, spreads from 0.0 pips and a commission of $5. Each column shows leverage up to 1:500, minimum size 0.01 lots, stop-out at 20 percent, a margin call at 100 percent and NDD execution. The $8 and the $5 sit in the cell with the unit left blank, so a reader used to raw pricing elsewhere can take either figure as a charge per side.
The help-centre account page supplies the unit. Premium is a raw account with spreads from 0.0 pips and $8 per lot per round-turn contract. Ultimate carries $5 per lot per round-turn contract. Starter is a $100 minimum with spreads starting from 1.5. A spreads article on the same centre, dated 9 April 2026, repeats EURUSD floors of 0.0, 0.0 and 1.5 for Ultimate, Premium and Starter, says the spreads are variable, and leaves commission out of the grid.
| Where the figure sits | Account names | Premium EUR/USD line | Dollar reading |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account-types page, 28 October 2026 | Starter, Premium, Ultimate | From 0.0 pips, commission $8, minimum $500 | $8 once the help centre's round-turn unit is applied. The table leaves the unit blank |
| Help centre, 19 January 2026, reopened 28 October 2026 | Starter, Premium, Ultimate | $8 per lot per round-turn, spreads from 0.0 pips | $8 at the 0.0 floor, on MetaTrader, before any wider spread |
| Agreement linked from the EUR/USD signup form, CDN path 2020/12 | Classic, Standard, Premium, VIP, Copy Trading | Premium as low as 1.2 pips. Dollar commission missing from the table | $12 at that floor, at the site's $10 pip value |
| Agreement on the September 2025 CDN path | Starter, Premium, Ultimate | Premium "From 0.0 pips". The spread table omits a dollar column | Floor spread $0. The $8 stays on the website, outside this file |
The September 2025 file, CFDs-CLIENT-AGREEMENT-V.pdf, uses the live names in clause 9.30.3: Starter Variable, Premium "From 0.0 pips", Ultimate "From 0.0 pips." Clause 23 says costs are set out on the company website and that the company may vary them. The dollar figure stays on the website. The spread clause stops at the pip floor.
The EUR/USD registration module points its terms at CFD-client-agreement.pdf on a December 2020 path. Clause 9.30.3 prices Classic at 1.9 pips fixed, Standard as low as 1.5, Premium as low as 1.2, VIP as low as 0.8 pip, and Copy Trading as low as 1.5. Ultimate, Starter, the 0.0 floor and the strings $8 and $5 are missing from that file.
Until one file carries the account name, the floor and the round-turn dollars together, the cost of an Orbex EUR/USD lot depends on which link was opened.
The agreement the signup form links
Who holds the contract starts on page one of that older file. The header reads Orbex Global LTD, 2nd Floor, The Catalyst, Silicon Avenue, 40 Cybercity, 72201 Ebène, Republic of Mauritius. Clause 1.1 is between ORBEX Global LTD and the client. Clause 1.2 says the company is authorised by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission and registered in Mauritius under the Companies Law with number HE 258884, at 2nd Floor, Suite 207, The Catalyst.
HE 258884 is also the company number on a Cyprus register entry with a different address. The CySEC page for ORBEX Ltd lists licence 124/10, licence date 21 October 2010, company registration 258884, address 82nd Street, number 6, Ground Floor, 4153 Kato Polemidia, Limassol, email info@orbex.com.cy, previous name AFB FX Ltd, and approved domain www.orbex.com.cy. The licence line is marked under examination for voluntary renunciation of the authorisation. The global footer says the global website sits outside an EU audience and links to orbex.com.cy.
The PDF presents HE 258884 as the Mauritius registration of Orbex Global LTD. The Cyprus register presents 258884 as ORBEX Ltd of Limassol. The digit strings match, and the jurisdictions part company. The FSC certificate Orbex hosts makes zero use of 258884.
Five company lines and one certificate
The regulations page and its footer name several operators in one scroll, and the table is the reading from that page, the two agreements, the CySEC entry and the licence PDF. ORBEX Ltd of the CySEC file is left off the regulations page. Clause 1.1 of the September 2025 agreement is with "ORBEX" alone, and the pages read from that file give the company neither a registration number nor a street address.
| Name opened 28 October 2026 | Role the page assigns | Number printed |
|---|---|---|
| Orbex Global LTD, signup agreement | Party to that contract. FSC Mauritius. Suite 207, 2nd Floor, The Catalyst | HE 258884, presented as Mauritius |
| Orbex Global Limited, regulations page and EUR/USD module | Operator of orbex.com. FS-4.1 and SEC-2.1B. Ground Floor, The Catalyst. The form says the account sits with this Mauritius company | Licence PDF below |
| Orbex Ltd, FSC certificate Orbex hosts | Investment dealer licence, 7 January 2019. A note records a name change to Orbex Global Ltd on 18 February 2019 | C118023330, code SEC-2.1B |
| ORBEX Ltd, CySEC register | Licence 124/10, 21 October 2010, under renunciation examination. Domain www.orbex.com.cy | Company 258884 |
| Orbex Limited, Seychelles | Securities Dealer, Seychelles FSA. Licence number left blank in the text retrieved | Blank on that page |
| Orbex LLC, St Vincent | Operates orbex.com from First St Vincent Bank Ltd Building, James Street, Kingstown. Opinion 9 November 2021 | 230 LLC 2019 |
| Orbex Limited, Saint Lucia | Footer says this company operates orbex.com, Rodney Bay | 2025-00714 IBC |
| Orbex Services Limited, Cyprus | Payment operator, Kato Polemidia, outside the trading business | HE 387329 |
The PDF the regulations page calls "View License" is FSC Mauritius licence C118023330, code SEC-2.1B, granted to Orbex Ltd on 7 January 2019 under section 29 of the Securities Act 2005. A note cites a resolution of 4 February 2019 and a registrar's certificate of 18 February 2019 changing the name to Orbex Global Ltd. The body still says Orbex Ltd. An FS-4.1 certificate is missing from the file, while the regulations page lists FS-4.1 beside SEC-2.1B. The live FSC register stayed closed, so the certificate Orbex publishes is the document in hand, and its face is seven years old.
The Mauritius address is already two addresses. The signup agreement says 2nd Floor, Suite 207. The footer and the regulations page say Ground Floor. Both use The Catalyst, Silicon Avenue, 40 Cybercity, 72201 Ebène. The EUR/USD module, country menu still on the placeholder "Select Country," says the trading account will be under Orbex Global Limited, a company registered in Mauritius. That line leaves the floor undecided and passes over the Saint Lucia and St Vincent companies the footer also calls the operator of orbex.com.
The same question of which company holds the contract sits in the ADSS note on the EUR/USD ticket and the legal entity, the Hantec Markets piece on a London figure sitting on a Mauritius book, and the Scope Markets review of a Saint Lucia contract.
Tickmill and IC on the same lot
The peer test uses the round-turn dollars each broker prints for a raw-style EUR/USD lot at a 0.0 pip floor, and both commissions are quoted in US dollars. The Orbex bar is the help-centre Premium figure of $8. Ultimate's $5 stays off the chart because it sits behind a $25,000 minimum.
Tickmill's EU raw-account page says spreads from 0.0 pips and $3 per lot per side. The worked example is one lot of EURUSD, 100,000 EUR, at $3 per side and $6 round turn. Raw is on MT4 and MT5, starting deposit 100, and the deposit may vary by base currency among USD, EUR, GBP, PLN and CHF. Retail leverage is up to 1:30 and professional leverage up to 1:500. The licences page names Tickmill Europe Ltd, CySEC 278/15, at Spyrou Kyprianou 77, MGO PROTOPAPAS NO2, 5th Floor, 3076, Limassol. Tickmill Ltd in Seychelles, FSA SD008, is a different firm, so the $6 row is Tickmill Europe Ltd.
IC's spreads page belongs to Raw Trading Ltd, registration 8419879-1, Seychelles FSA securities dealer SD018. The trading names are IC and IC Markets Global. A notice places that company outside the European Union and names IC Markets (EU) Ltd, CySEC 362/18, as a separate firm. On a USD account the MetaTrader 4 Raw Spread schedule is USD 3.50 per standard lot and USD 7.0 round turn, also written as $3.5 per lot per side. cTrader and TradingView are $3 per 100,000 USD per side. A worked example at 1.3000 and 1.3100 reaches $7.83, and those prices are the example's own inputs, so the peer figure stays the MetaTrader round turn of $7.00.
The EURUSD cells read 0, 0.01, 0.8 and 0.1 under minimum, average, minimum, average, for Raw Spread and then Standard, so the raw average is 0.01 pips and the standard average is 0.1 under a standard minimum of 0.8. A minimum deposit is left off that page. The chart uses the stated round-turn commission at a 0.0 floor.
| Axis | Orbex Premium | Tickmill Raw, EU page | IC Raw Spread, MetaTrader |
|---|---|---|---|
| EUR/USD round turn at a 0.0 pip floor | $8 per lot, help centre, 19 January 2026 | $6, from $3 per side | $7.00, from USD 3.50 per side on a USD account |
| Legal entity on the page with the figure | Module: Orbex Global Limited, Mauritius. Linked file: Orbex Global LTD, HE 258884. 2025 file: "ORBEX" | Tickmill Europe Ltd | Raw Trading Ltd, registration 8419879-1 |
| Regulator named for that entity | FSC Mauritius, certificate C118023330. CySEC 124/10 is the Limassol firm, domain www.orbex.com.cy, under renunciation examination | CySEC 278/15 | Seychelles FSA SD018. EU firm is separate, CySEC 362/18 |
| Platform and minimum | MT4 and MT5. Minimum $500 | MT4 and MT5. Starting deposit 100, and the page says it may vary | MetaTrader for the $7.00 line. Minimum left off the spreads page |
At that floor Tickmill's EU raw account is the lowest of the three, a dollar under IC's MetaTrader schedule and two dollars under Orbex Premium. The live EUR/USD page showed 0.00001 at 08:25 GMT+2 on 28 October 2026, sell 1.11205 and buy 1.11206, with Starter, Premium and Ultimate left unnamed. That print is 0.1 pips, or $1 at the page's $10 pip, and the calculator at 1.00 lot returns $10.00 per pip. On Premium the same print would make a $9 round turn. The widget withholds the account name, so the chart stays on the help-centre $8.

Leverage, the dormant fee, and Prime
The account page's "up to 1:500" is easy to treat as a constant. Clause 9.25 of the September 2025 agreement runs the rate from 1:1 to 1:500 by CFD, sets a new account at 1:100 by default, and allows the company to change it without prior notice. Clause 9.27 ties the ceiling to volume: up to 1:500 at or under 20 lots, up to 1:300 from 20 to 40 lots, and up to 1:100 above 40 lots. Professional accounts can sit outside those bands.
Stop-out is split the same way. The account table prints 20 percent. Clause 10.9 describes positions closed as equity reaches zero. Those are different losses on the same balance. Dormancy is a number in both agreements. Clause 14.12 allows 20 USD, 20 EUR, 20 GBP or 20 PLN a month, by currency, after six months with trading missing or a zero balance, until the balance is exhausted, and the clause keeps the debit from driving the account through zero. At twelve months the account is treated as closed. On a quiet $500 Premium account that fee is a separate bill from the ticket of an account that keeps trading.
Prime is a fourth account the main table ignores. A support article, updated more than a month before this retrieval, describes cashback from 22 September 2026 with the end left as TBD, a first deposit of $250, and tiers from $5 at 5 to 9 lots up to $1,000 at 500 lots, on MT4 or MT5. The article is silent on the EUR/USD spread and on commission, and the linked terms file stayed unopened. The EUR/USD page is cleaner on one narrow point: withdrawals at 0 percent from Orbex, with any bank fee left to the payment firm.
What would move the rating
The rating on the page is 2.7 out of 5. The pros are a help centre that names Premium at $8 per lot per round turn and Ultimate at $5, on MetaTrader, with the floors beside them, an FSC certificate that can be opened with number C118023330, code SEC-2.1B and a name-change note, and an EUR/USD page that states a pip value. Those documents keep the mark above a firm that publishes a blank schedule.
The cons are what decide the contract. The signup agreement prices Premium at 1.2 pips on a retired ladder and presents HE 258884 as Mauritian, while CySEC uses 258884 for ORBEX Ltd in Limassol, licence 124/10 under renunciation examination, domain www.orbex.com.cy. The 2025 agreement has the current account names and still omits the dollars. Mauritius, Seychelles, St Vincent and Saint Lucia are each called the operator somewhere on the regulations page or the footer, and the Seychelles licence number is blank. Ground Floor and Suite 207 are both in circulation. Stop-out is 20 percent on the table and zero in clause 10.9. The live spread of 0.00001 has the account name left off.
The verdict moves with the documents. It would move up if one agreement, linked from the signup form, named one company, one number and one regulator, matching the certificate and the footer, and printed Premium as a round-turn dollar figure beside the floor. A finished CySEC renunciation, or a sentence that fences the Limassol firm off the global site, would move it, as would a current FSC register extract taken from the commission rather than from the 2019 PDF. It would move down if another account shipped a cashback table and a blank spread, or if the help-centre round turn drifted from $8 while the account page kept the old cell. A tighter widget on an unnamed account leaves the mark where it is.
Questions readers actually ask
Which company holds an Orbex client contract? The EUR/USD signup form links an agreement with Orbex Global LTD and calls HE 258884 a Mauritius registration, at Suite 207, 2nd Floor, The Catalyst, Ebène. The same module says the account will sit with Orbex Global Limited in Mauritius. The September 2025 agreement names only "ORBEX." The footer also calls a Saint Lucia company and a St Vincent company the operator of orbex.com.
Is Premium $8 a side or $8 for the round turn? The account table prints $8 with the unit blank, beside spreads from 0.0 pips and a $500 minimum. The help centre, dated 19 January 2026, says $8 per lot per round-turn contract, so the round turn at a 0.0 floor is $8, where a per-side reading would make $16. The signup agreement prices Premium at 1.2 pips, $12 at the site's $10 pip value.
Does CySEC licence 124/10 cover a new orbex.com account? The register, read on 28 October 2026, lists ORBEX Ltd under 124/10, dated 21 October 2010, company 258884, Kato Polemidia, domain www.orbex.com.cy, with the licence under examination for voluntary renunciation. The global site points EU residents toward orbex.com.cy. The EUR/USD module places a new global account with Orbex Global Limited in Mauritius.
Trading foreign exchange on margin can wipe out the sum committed. The figures above are reference readings from the named pages on 28 October 2026, and a broker can change a spread, a commission or a contract after that date.
