Hantec Markets puts "Commissions starting from ZERO" at the top of the Pro account page and, on that same page, a cost table that reads "From $2 per lot". Both lines were live on 20 October 2026. The currencies page then names the pair this review is pricing. On the Global account, EUR/USD is listed with a spread starting from 0.6 and a commission starting from $0, in a table the site stamps 1 September 2025, 09:00 UTC. The Global account card, a different URL, advertises spreads from 0.1 pips. Pro uses that same 0.1-pip line and then the $2 commission. Under both cards the firm adds that trading conditions can vary by symbol, and that the prices are indicative. A 0.1-pip banner and a 0.6 cell on EUR/USD are both on the site. They describe different things, and only the cell names the pair.
The currencies footer styles the firm Hantec Markets Ltd. and says it is authorised as an investment dealer by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius, licence C114013940. The terms, version MU-HM-T&C-04082025-V3.0, use that same licence under the name Hantec Markets Limited. Clause 2.1.1 places the office at Suite 201, 2nd Floor, The Catalyst, Silicon Avenue, 40 Cybercity, 72201 Ebène, and prints a London telephone, 020 7036 0888. The PDF header on the same Mauritius firm prints +41 22 551 0215. Companies House, read the same day, lists HANTEC MARKETS LIMITED, number 06819047, incorporated on 13 February 2009, office 93 Gloucester Place, London W1U 6JQ. That London company is a separate register entry. The EUR/USD cell below is the Mauritius table.

Who signs the retail contract
On the currencies page the authorising firm is Hantec Markets Ltd., licence C114013940. The terms open on Hantec Markets Limited at Suite 201, The Catalyst, Ebène, and repeat that licence. The website says "Ltd." The PDF says "Limited". For a client opening on hmarkets.com, those two stylings are the party on the account.
Clause 2.1.1 writes the Ebene address and prints 020 7036 0888. The cover prints +41 22 551 0215 and info-mu@hmarkets.com. Companies House 06819047 is active, SIC 64999, last accounts made up to 31 December 2025, registered office 93 Gloucester Place. That overview states no FCA firm reference number. This session did not open a UK price schedule. The pair cell is the Mauritius table.
The FSC online public register was opened on 20 October 2026. The recent-licensee list did not include Hantec Markets, and a name search for C114013940 did not return a loaded row. The licence number in this review is the one the broker prints. Scope Markets is a recent piece on this desk where the brand and the company on the contract had to be separated the same way. The photograph is Ebene CyberCity at dusk, by Starts on 5 May 2015, Wikimedia Commons, CC0: the district in clause 2.1.1, not Suite 201 and not the regulator's building.
The Global EUR/USD cell
The currencies page is the only Hantec page in this session that puts a number on EUR/USD itself. The Global row reads: spread starting from 0.6, commission starting from $0, margin starting from 1.00%. The column the site labels long prints −7.8732. The column the site labels short prints 2.4816. The header calls both figures pips. The stamp is 1 September 2025, 09:00 UTC. Retrieval was 20 October 2026, so the pair row is fourteen months older than the day it was read. The page says prices are indicative and may vary by account type.
A pip on 100,000 EUR of EUR/USD is worth $10, because the quote currency is the dollar and a pip is 0.0001 of the rate. Spread of 0.6 pips on a standard lot is $6.00. Commission starting from $0 adds nothing. The all-in floor on that published cell is $6.00 a round turn. The word on the page is "starting from". A live spread can sit wider. Hantec did not print a median for 20 October 2026.
The swap figures stay in the unit the table uses. A nightly charge near 7.9 pips would be an outlier, and the column may mean a smaller price increment. The page does not define the unit. Converting −7.8732 into dollars would invent a definition.
The Global card says a maximum of 1:500. A margin of 1.00% is gearing of 100:1. Gearing of 500:1 would be a margin of 0.20%. The card also says the spread starts at 0.1 pips, while the pair row says 0.6. Read on 20 October 2026, 0.1 is an account-level line and 0.6 is the EUR/USD cell.
One definition covers every bar. Take the EUR/USD spread figure on that page, in pips, multiply by $10, and add the commission that same page attaches to the book. Where commission is a rate on dollar notional, the notional is 100,000 EUR at the ECB reference of 1.1225 on 19 October 2026, which is $112,250. Hantec Global is 0.6 times $10 plus $0, so $6.00. OANDA spread-only prints 1 and wraps commission into the spread, so $10.00. OANDA core is a 0.1-pip floor, $1.00, plus $40 per $1 million on each leg, both legs charged at open: $4.49 a leg, $8.98 together, $9.98 all-in. Swissquote Prime showed 1.2 pips on a page that calls the forex spread all-in, so $12.00. That last bar is the card at retrieval, not a "starting from" line.

| Book | Entity on the page | EUR/USD figure used | Commission on that book | All-in |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hantec Global | Hantec Markets Ltd, FSC Mauritius C114013940 | spread from 0.6, table dated 1 Sep 2025 | from $0 | $6.00 |
| OANDA core | OANDA Global Markets Ltd, BVI FSC SIBA/L/20/1130 | as low as 0.1 pip | $40 per $1 million, each leg, both at open | $9.98 |
| OANDA spread-only | Same BVI company | table cell 1 | wrapped into the spread | $10.00 |
| Swissquote Prime | Swissquote Bank Europe, supervised by the CSSF | 1.2 pips on the pair card | none; page says all-in | $12.00 |
Sources, all read on 20 October 2026: the Hantec currencies page; OANDA Global Markets Ltd on its BVI pricing page and its core-spread help page, BVI FSC number SIBA/L/20/1130; Swissquote Bank Europe on its Luxembourg conditions page, supervised by the CSSF. OANDA's own example uses 1.17728 and gets $10.42. The $9.98 bar uses the ECB reference of 1.1225 instead, and keeps OANDA's spread floor.
Lower on that OANDA pricing page, EUR/USD is also described as tradable from 0.6 pips, and the line is not tied to either column. The chart uses the table cell and the help-page formula. NAGA is the parallel already on this desk: two printed EUR/USD figures, and the job is to say which company each one belongs to.
Interactive Brokers LLC stays off the chart. Its spot-currency page, read 20 October 2026, passes dealer quotes through and charges commission on top. Tier I is 0.20 basis point of trade value per order, minimum $2.00, and those rates are for direct clients. On $112,250 that is $2.245 an order and $4.49 to open and close. The minimum does not bind. IBKR prints no EUR/USD floor, so the $4.49 cannot sit on a chart whose metric includes a published spread.
The Swissquote fees overview says forex from 0.8 pips on EUR/USD. The conditions card did not show 0.8. At retrieval Prime was 1.2 pips, bid 1.12284 and ask 1.12296. Standard was 1.8 and the middle column was 1.5. The page says the spreads are all-in, with no separate commission. The $12 bar is Prime as shown. An 0.8-pip floor would have been $8.00, and that figure was on a different page.
Zero on the banner, two dollars in the table
The Pro page addresses "active traders seeking tighter costs". The benefits heading is "Commissions starting from ZERO". The cost table says the commission is "From $2 per lot". Deposit and withdrawal fees are $0.00. Negative balance protection is marked included. Fund insurance prints "Up to $500,000", which is the card's claim, not a policy this review has read. Minimum deposit is "From $10". Minimum order size is "From 0.01 lots". The spread is floating. The card's maximum gearing line is 1:500.
Nothing on that page says whether $2 per lot is charged once per round turn or once per side. One reading adds $2 to the spread. The other, the way several raw accounts are written, adds $4 before the spread. The site does not pick. The spread "from 0.1 pips" is an account-level floor, and the page says conditions vary by symbol. There is no Pro row for EUR/USD. Pro is not a bar. Global is the bar, because Global has a pair cell and a commission cell of $0.
A zero line next to a printed charge is a pattern. RoboMarkets put a zero-commission line beside a percentage charge on a different contract. Quote the line that names the unit, and the line that names the pair.
Account type is sticky. The Pro FAQ says a Pro account, once created, cannot be switched. A client who wants the other card opens a second account inside the same profile. The Global FAQ says the same about Global. The choice between $0 and "from $2" is made at the account, and the EUR/USD cell that can be checked today sits on Global.
Both cards list MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, a Hantec mobile app, a web trader, social mirroring and PAMM. The footer says those MetaTrader names are MetaQuotes trademarks, and that Hantec Markets Ltd does not develop or endorse third-party expert advisors.
What the terms let the firm do
Clause 2.6.1 sets the capacity. Unless agreed otherwise at the time of dealing, Hantec Markets Limited is the counterparty and acts as principal, not as agent. The client is responsible for the obligations. The spread and the commission are the dealer's prices.
Clause 2.2.1 makes the service non-advised unless the firm has agreed a personal recommendation on a particular transaction. Clause 2.11.1 says the firm need not accept an order or execute one it has accepted, and that the client may not alter or cancel an order once it is on the platform.
Clause 2.9 sits beside the negative-balance line on the card. The firm may investigate activity it suspects is market abuse or suspicious trading, with or without notice. If it decides the client engaged in that activity, it may refuse or cancel orders, void transactions, adjust the account, claw back profits, recoup its losses, cut off the platform, or end the agreement immediately. The examples include scalping wide spreads in thin liquidity, opening high-gearing trades into the weekend or a data release in a way that abuses negative-balance protection, and trading price-feed errors, mispricing or latency. The card marks the protection "included". The terms describe a set of trades for which that protection can be the thing being abused, and for which profits can be reclaimed.
Clause 1.4.1 gives 14 days to cancel, counted from the business day the firm receives the completed application. Notice goes to the Ebene address or to info-mu@hmarkets.com. If the firm makes a cash advance, interest is 3% a year above the Mauritius prime lending rate, calculated daily. The clause does not oblige the firm to make the advance.
An introducing broker can sit in the money. Where the account was introduced, the terms say the introducer may receive a commission or a rebate from Hantec Markets. A client comparing the $6 floor with an introducer's quote is comparing the firm's page with a number that can contain a rebate. The currencies table does not show it.
RelatedScope Markets Review: Saint Lucia Contract, $10 EUR/USD
The terms, citing the Dodd-Frank Act and CFTC restrictions, say the firm cannot open accounts for United States residents. The footer adds that the site is not aimed at residents of the United States, the United Arab Emirates or Japan, and that services are not offered to residents of Iran, Myanmar, North Korea and Russia. A further line says the firm is not authorised by Brazil's CVM for brokerage of foreign-issued securities.
Verdict
The rating is 3.4 out of 5. The Mauritius contract, the Ebene address and the EUR/USD cell can all be named from documents read on 20 October 2026. The price those documents support is a published floor, and several lines around it disagree with each other.
The footer and the terms agree on licence C114013940. The Global table gives EUR/USD a spread starting from 0.6 and a commission starting from $0, so a standard lot's published floor is $6.00 before swaps and before any introducer rebate. Deposit and withdrawal fees on both cards print as $0.00. The minimum deposit prints as from $10. The terms say the firm deals as principal, so the counterparty is named. Companies House makes the London company checkable as 06819047, which keeps Gloucester Place off this price.
The Pro page puts zero in the heading and $2 per lot in the table, and never says whether that $2 is one charge or two. The 0.1-pip line is not a EUR/USD row. The pair row that does exist is stamped 1 September 2025. The card's 1:500 maximum and the pair row's 1.00% margin do not describe one gearing. The FSC page opened this session did not display the firm. Clause 2.9 lets the firm void trades and claw back profits, including patterns that use the negative-balance protection the card marks as included. The swap column prints large figures labelled pips and does not define the unit. Fund insurance "up to $500,000" is a card claim, and the policy was not among the pages read.
A currencies table stamped in 2026, a Pro line that says per side or round turn on EUR/USD, and a live FSC row for C114013940 would each move this number. None of the three was in hand on 20 October 2026. The figure to carry is the Global floor: $6.00 on a standard EUR/USD lot, on a contract with Hantec Markets Limited in Ebène.
Questions readers actually ask
Which company holds the Hantec Markets retail account on hmarkets.com?
The footer and the terms point to the Mauritius investment dealer, licence C114013940. The footer styles the name Hantec Markets Ltd. The terms, version MU-HM-T&C-04082025-V3.0, style it Hantec Markets Limited and give Suite 201 at The Catalyst in Ebène. Companies House company 06819047 is a London company with the same words in its name. It is a different register entry, and this review did not take a EUR/USD price from it.
What does the Global account publish on EUR/USD?
The currencies table, stamped 1 September 2025 and read on 20 October 2026, shows a spread starting from 0.6 and a commission starting from $0, with a margin cell of 1.00%. On a 100,000 EUR lot a pip is $10, so that spread floor is $6.00 round turn before swaps. The figure is a published minimum. The page says actual pricing can vary, and it does not print a typical spread for the day.
Why is Pro missing from the comparison chart?
The Pro card says commissions start from zero and also says the commission is from $2 per lot. It does not say whether $2 is charged once or on each side. The spread "from 0.1 pips" is an account-level line, and the page says conditions vary by symbol. There is no Pro cell for EUR/USD to multiply by $10. The chart keeps one definition, and Pro does not meet it.
Did the Mauritius register confirm licence C114013940 on 20 October 2026?
The FSC online public register was opened, and the recent-licensee list on that landing page did not show Hantec Markets. A filtered name result for the licence did not load in this session. The number C114013940 is taken from the broker's footer and from the terms PDF. A live register row would be the confirmation still missing.
Does the negative-balance line on the card survive the terms?
Both account cards mark negative-balance protection as included. Clause 2.9 then lists, among suspicious patterns, high-gearing trades into the weekend or into a data release that abuse that protection. If the firm decides the pattern fits, it may void transactions and claw back profits. The card and the clause are both on the record. A client who needs the protection should read 2.9 before relying on the word "included".
This is analysis, not advice. FX and CFDs can wipe out the money posted. The dollars in this piece are published floors or, for Swissquote Prime and the OANDA core arithmetic, figures built from pages read on 20 October 2026 and the ECB reference of 19 October 2026. They are not the spread a ticket will be filled at, and they are not a recommendation to open or close a position.
