InstaForex's current MT5 specification file prices EURUSD.fx at a real spread of 0.0 and an ECN commission of 3.0 per 100,000 dollars traded, while the firm's forex key information document, dated 19 February 2025, prints that commission as zero.
Both files sit on instaforex.eu, the site Instant Trading EU Ltd runs under the InstaForex name. The specification workbook and the forex-pairs key information document both came off the legal-documentation index on 5 November 2026, and the PDF header carries the February date. One file bills a dollar fee on a zero spread. The other bills a spread in points and a commission of zero.
The EURUSD.fx lot cell reads EUR 10,000. Pepperstone's European Razor page and Tickmill Europe's Raw page both work a one-lot example as 100,000 euros of base currency. Footnote 6 on the InstaForex account-types page describes one lot as 1 dollar per pip once a large deposit is in place, while a 100,000-euro EUR/USD contract is worth about 10 dollars a pip. The InstaForex lot is a tenth of the contract those two firms call one lot.

What the current MT5 block prints
The live block sits above "OLD Accounts, opened before March 29 2025" and covers MT5 ECN, ECN PRO and VIP ECN. EURUSD.fx shows a real spread of 0.0 and fees of 3.5, 3.0, 2.5, 1.5 and 1.0. Long swap is minus 10.1 points, short swap is 1.1, and leverage on the row is 1:30. The asterisk says commissions are stated per 100,000 dollars traded, with swaps in points, charged daily, and tripled on Wednesday. The account-types MT5 tab repeats 3.5, 3, 2.5 and 1.5 at minimums of 200, 1,000, 10,000 and 50,000 euros. Special VIP's 1.0 is on the sheet and absent from those cards.
There are no spreads applied for Forex majors, BTC, ETH, XRP.
That sentence is footnote 1 on the account-types page. The same footnote calls raw spreads the liquidity provider's price with markups removed, and says commissions are charged each time a position is opened and closed, "stated per lot and per deal."
Footnote 5, on the forex column, reads: "0% commission for all Forex except Majors. Commission for Forex Majors starts from 0.0004%." Three dollars per 100,000 dollars is 0.003 percent. Four ten-thousandths of one percent of 100,000 dollars is 40 cents. The page is carrying both prices.
The chart uses the specification footnote together with the opened-and-closed sentence. One side of a 100,000-euro ticket at 1.1267 is 112,670 dollars, so the ECN fee of 3 costs 3.38 dollars to open and another 3.38 to close. The round turn is 6.76 dollars, spread cell at 0.0, swaps left out. A round trip trades the notional twice, and the footnote prices dollars traded. Tickmill states that double in words, "3 USD and 6 USD round turn". The InstaForex sheet leaves the step to the reader, and the chart shows it.
| MT5 tier on the current sheet | Fee per 100,000 dollars traded | Minimum deposit on the account page | Round turn, 100,000 euros, both sides | Round turn, one spec lot of 10,000 euros |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MINI ECN | 3.5 | 200 euros | 7.89 dollars | 0.79 dollars |
| ECN | 3.0 | 1,000 euros | 6.76 dollars | 0.68 dollars |
| ECN PRO | 2.5 | 10,000 euros | 5.63 dollars | 0.56 dollars |
| ECN VIP | 1.5 | 50,000 euros | 3.38 dollars | 0.34 dollars |
| Special VIP ECN | 1.0 | Absent from the account cards | 2.25 dollars | 0.23 dollars |
Each round-turn cell is 2 times 1.1267 times the fee, then divided by ten for the spec-sheet lot. The rate is the ECB reference for 4 November 2026. Swaps stay in points, because the sheet gives the sign and the Wednesday triple and withholds a cash value per point on this symbol.
The company on the CySEC record
The footer and the regulation page name Instant Trading EU Ltd, licence 266/15. The CySEC record opened on 5 November 2026 shows that licence, the date 13 January 2015, registration 266937, and the same Spetson Street office the site prints. Approved domains are www.instaforex.eu, www.forexmart.eu and www.instatradesolution.hu.
Licence Number: 266/15
The register keeps the previous names, Tradomart Ltd and Fxco Trading Ltd, so a statement under either name is still this company's file. Which legal person holds the ticket is the subject of the IronFX entity note, and the same test applies here.
The regulation page refuses residents of the United States, the United Kingdom, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Afghanistan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and it denies any relationship with domains it calls non-approved, naming insta-markets.com and instanttrade.net. The February 2025 key information document puts client money in segregated accounts and the Investor Compensation Fund ceiling at 20,000 euros for an eligible client. Retail leverage is capped at 1:30, with professional clients up to 1:500, margin call at 100 percent, stop-out at 50 percent and locked margin at 25 percent.
Three round turns on 100,000 euros
The comparison fixes one size: 100,000 euros of EUR/USD, opened and closed the same day, spread held at the zero each page prints, swaps excluded. For InstaForex that size is ten spec-sheet lots on MT5 ECN, the tier whose fee cell is 3.0 and whose card asks for 1,000 euros. For the other two firms it is the one lot their examples already use.
Pepperstone EU Limited, on the European accounts page, starts Razor FX spreads from 0.0 and commission from 3.50 dollars per lot per side, and the page says MT4 charges both sides when the trade opens. Razor runs on the Pepperstone platform, MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView. The footer is Pepperstone EU Limited, HE 398429, CySEC 388/20, 195 Makarios III Avenue, Limassol. The wider group is in the Pepperstone review. The bar is that 3.50 dollars taken twice.
Tickmill Europe Ltd, on tickmill.com/eu, starts Raw spreads from 0.0 pips and charges 3 dollars per side on FX. Its own line: one EURUSD lot of 100,000 euros is 3 dollars a side and 6 dollars round turn. Retail leverage on the table is 1:30, and the starting deposit prints as 100, in USD, EUR, GBP, PLN or CHF. The footer is Tickmill Europe Ltd, CySEC 278/15, in Limassol, with a 74 percent retail-loss figure for CFDs at that firm. The same Raw schedule is in the Tickmill Raw account review.

On that reading the three Cyprus firms land within a dollar: InstaForex ECN at 6.76, Tickmill at 6.00, Pepperstone at 7.00. The minimum deposit ranks them the other way. One thousand euros is about 1,126.70 dollars at the same ECB rate, against 10 dollars at Pepperstone and an unlabelled 100 at Tickmill. A 1,000 euro ECN balance at 1:30 margins about 30,000 euros, short of the 100,000-euro ticket, so the 6.76 dollar figure assumes the margin is already there.
The other prices still on the site
The MT4 sheet is a spread book. EURUSD.fx, lot still EUR 10,000, shows 0.00005, 0.00002 and 0.00001 across ECN, ECN PRO and VIP, and the fee cell is a dash: 5, 2 and 1 dollars on 100,000 euros if the spread is crossed once. The account-types MT4 tab prints a wider average minimum, 0.00010, 0.00007 and 0.00003, or 10, 7 and 3 dollars. The page calls that print an average minimum, and the workbook header says "Real Spread".
The key information document of 19 February 2025 shows an average floating spread of 11 points on ECN, 7 on ECN PRO and 4 on VIP, and a commission of 0 per side. One line puts total costs at 29.21 euros on a 10,000 euro investment and a 300,000 euro notional held one day, swaps included. Another block, at 60,000 euros of notional, prints spread values of 1.07, 0.68 and 0.39 euros. Those euros belong to the PDF's own examples, so the chart stays with the specification fee.
Below that cutoff an "OLD Accounts" block changes the footnote to "Commissions are stated per deal (per side)." The old EURUSD.fx row keeps a 0.0 spread and fee cells of 0.000007, 0.000005 and 0.000004, a different order of number from 3.0, still inside the file a new client downloads.

The legal index still links "Information On The Average Value Of Spreads", a PDF headed fourth quarter 2021 for the Polish branch. In the 0.01-to-1-lot band, ECN MT5 EURUSD.fx averages 0.00001, which is 1 dollar on 100,000 euros if it were still the live average, and the file remains one click from the legal page opened on 5 November 2026.

The MT5 commission article at support.instaforex.eu returned HTTP 500 on 5 November 2026, so the cost above uses the files that opened. The costs-and-charges PDF dated 25 April 2025 says the company covers deposit fees, then lists clawbacks if a condition is missed, including SEPA at 15 euros plus 0.1 percent. A deposit of 10,000 euros or more earns one covered withdrawal a month on the account page.
Where the pages agree, and where they split
Instant Trading EU Ltd on instaforex.eu is the same company in the footer, on the regulation page and on the CySEC record. Licence, office and old names match, and the 1:30 cap, segregated-money language and 20,000 euro compensation ceiling are in the firm's own files. The ECN round turn of 6.76 dollars sits between Tickmill's 6.00 and Pepperstone's 7.00 once the notional is fixed at 100,000 euros and the other five readings are set aside, before any raw spread above zero on those two.
Footnote 5's 0.0004 percent, the KID's zero commission, the MT4 spread, the wider MT4 average, and the 2021 branch PDF are still published. The lot cell makes a casual per-lot comparison ten times too large. Three commission descriptions are live at once, the lot is 10,000 euros beside peers who mean 100,000, and the ECN minimum is 1,000 euros against floors of 10 dollars and 100.
The rating is 3.1 out of 5. The register entry is clear enough to identify the counterparty. The price is clear only after the other files are set aside, which a pricing page should have done already.
Questions the pages actually answer
Who holds an InstaForex contract opened on instaforex.eu?
Instant Trading EU Ltd, a Cyprus investment firm, company 266937, CySEC licence 266/15, licensed on 13 January 2015. The register entry retrieved on 5 November 2026 lists that licence, the Limassol office on Spetson Street, the previous names Tradomart Ltd and Fxco Trading Ltd, and instaforex.eu among the approved domains. The regulation page refuses clients in the United Kingdom and the United States, among other countries, and the contract follows that company.
What is one lot on the InstaForex EUR/USD sheet?
The current MT5 row for EURUSD.fx sets the lot at 10,000 euros, and the account-types footnote describes one lot as 1 dollar per pip. Pepperstone EU and Tickmill Europe both treat one EUR/USD lot as 100,000 euros, so their per-lot commission prices ten InstaForex lots. Match the notional, or the dollar-per-pip value, before matching the fee.
Does the printed 0.0 spread make the EUR/USD ticket free?
On the current MT5 row the spread cell is 0.0 and the ECN fee is 3.0 per 100,000 dollars traded. On the open and the close, that is 6.76 dollars for 100,000 euros at the 4 November ECB rate. Other files still print a spread or a commission of zero. The fee sits in the next column.
Checks to repeat on the pricing page
- Confirm the domain is instaforex.eu and the footer names Instant Trading EU Ltd, then match licence 266/15, registration 266937 and the Spetson Street office to the CySEC record, previous names included.
- In the specifications workbook, read EURUSD.fx in the block above "OLD Accounts, opened before March 29 2025". Note the lot cell, the real-spread cell and the fee for the tier whose minimum deposit matches the account you would fund.
- Read the asterisk under that block. If commissions are still per 100,000 dollars traded, decide whether the round turn counts the notional once or twice, and write the dollar sum down before using any other broker's per-lot number.
- Open the MT4 sheet and the MT4 tab on the account-types page. Where those spreads differ from the MT5 0.0 cell, the platform choice is a price choice.
- Set footnote 5 beside the fee column. A percentage that starts at 0.0004 and a fee of 3 per 100,000 dollars are different bills.
- On the Pepperstone EU Razor page and the Tickmill Europe Raw page, read the contract size in the example, the entity in the footer and the licence number. Keep the comparison on 100,000 euros of notional.
CFDs are complex instruments and most retail accounts lose money. The figures above are a reading of broker documents and the ECB reference rate on the dates cited. They are analysis of published prices, and they are a poor substitute for the cash figure the trading platform shows on a ticket in the hour you trade.
